‘Thinking Thoughts – Waiting Room Words’ is the inaugural project created by the Arts Health Network NSW/ACT group. We hope this will become the first of many creative projects and relationship building initiatives between the local health districts, local government, the community and its artists.
‘Thinking Thoughts’ offers people in waiting rooms and people waiting whilst seeking healthcare a gentle means to think of something different – about the creative arts in our lives and in the lives of others. It explores what the arts can be and what they have offered us.
A glimpse of a past and of a future. Ourselves reflected and – or – different.
A small print run of books have been published and distributed around hospitals and doctors’ surgeries.
