Pause for a moment and take time to explore the contemporary exhibition of Sydney artist Tracy Stirzaker at her solo show ‘MORE MYSELF – A Journey of Self-Love’, a community art experience exploring self-worth and empowering women to reconnect with their spirits at Incinerator Art Space Willoughby from Wednesday 23 February to 13 March.
Pause, breathe, a moment passes
I pause for a moment to clear the scattered chaos of my mind
A thought comes forward
Wistfully I am thinking that if only
If only I had time
I would….
I would take time for myself
Drawing on her lived experience Tracy Stirzaker takes you on a journey of self-discovery and self-love, with her thought-provoking artwork featuring textiles, painting, encaustics, works on paper and immersive installations. More Myself provides a commentary on society through an investigation of the body and human experience from a female perspective.
Awarded a Willoughby Council Arts and Culture grant in 2021, artist Tracy Stirzaker is excited to host a special event panel discussion on International Women’s Day 8 March exploring the journey of self-worth with special guest speaker Angela Raspass Business Mentor, Author & Self-Worth Educator.

About Tracy Stirzaker
Sydney based artist Tracy Stirzaker sees herself as an observer and critic of contemporary Australian society and is inspired by her lived experience. Employing painting and textiles techniques, Stirzaker uses the repetition of motifs in her artwork to explore the emotional body within the everyday constraints of social politics, cultural values and beliefs. Exhibiting regularly in groups exhibitions and a finalist in both the Hunters Hill and the Ravenswood Women’s Art Prizes in 2018, Stirzaker had her first solo show at Gallery Lane Cove in 2018 and her 2nd solo show in 2019 at White Rhino Artspace, a gallery she cofounded and directed in St Leonards.
