About the panellists

Katherine Boydell

Professor Katherine Boydell is the Director of Knowledge Translation for the Sydney Partnership in Health Education Research and Enterprise (SPHERE), and leads a program of research in arts-based knowledge translation, and exchange at the Black Dog Institute. She is an internationally recognised leader in qualitative inquiry and arts-based knowledge translation in the early psychosis field, and in the development of innovative methodological approaches to create knowledge and translate empirical research using arts-based methods.

Jill Bennett

Jill Bennett is a Professor and Australian Research Council Laureate Fellow at University of NSW, where she leads the Felt Experience & Empathy Lab [fEEL] and is Director of The Big Anxiety – festival of people + art + science. fEEL brings together immersive media artists and psychologists, creating work that investigates the subjective experience of mental health, trauma, memory and brain ageing.

Sherre DeLys

Sherre DeLys has received some of the world’s most respected storytelling and sound art awards. A former Australia Council New Media Arts Fellow, her sound installations and sculpture have been exhibited at home and abroad. She teaches at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Cancer Research Hospital, RMIT, and Barre Centre for Buddhist Studies.
