Arterie is an award-winning program designed to introduce arts-based healing into healthcare at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. It consists of 3 core programs, all of which use the arts to normalise and improve the hospital experience: the Carterie Program in the wards and treatment spaces (for inpatients); the Workshop Program in the atrium space (for outpatients), and the Artist in Residence Program in the hospital foyer entrances (for patients, visitors and staff).
