Elyssa Sykes-Smith is a multidisciplinary artist specialising in sculpture, installation, performance, and public art, with a focus on socially engaged projects, education, and health research. Sykes-Smith holds a Master of Fine Arts in Spatial Performance and Design from the Architectural Association, London, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) in Sculpture from the National Art School, Sydney.
Visually influenced by the Baroque period and network engineering principles, Sykes-Smith reinterprets the human form through abstraction, crafting contemporary art that resonates with diverse audiences.
