Welcome to 2025.

A year in which we build on our strengths and watch them grow. We have some exciting events on the horizon!

The first event is part of our Practice Exchange initiative – a Creative Exchange experience, with the Refugee Art Project. In person on Thursday 30th Jan 2025, 1:00 pm AEDT, in Ashfield, organised by the fabulous Diane Busuttil. Register here!!: https://events.humanitix.com/creative-exchange-with-the-refugee-art-project

The second is our AGM!! Online, Monday 10 February 4.30-6.00 pm. Register herehttps://events.humanitix.com/ahnna-agm-2025

At the AGM, we will give you a briefing on all our other projects:

  1. Profiles Project update: watch this space because our website is going to change to feature our Profiles! Available to members only.
  2. Creative Exchanges – there are more events to come!
  3. Mini Mentorships – there are more opportunities in 2025!
  4. Policy and Leadership Development Program – find out and get involved in how we can work together to advocate for and supportour sector!

AND of course the exciting part of our AGM is where we elect the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Media Officer and Lay Member for 2025!

To vote at the AGM, and to have a profile on the AHNNA website, you will need to be a paid member of the Network. You can do this fast and easily – just email artshealthnetworkahnna@gmail.com with a brief statement about yourself and why you want to join AHNNA, and include a brief (½-1 page) CV (if your CV is long, don’t take time to edit – just send as is). Your application will be processed by the Committee and we will send you an invoice for $20. Simple!

Why not nominate for a Committee Position? Your contributions and talents are so welcome in a Committee role. You can role-share with someone else, too. To be nominated for a role, send an email to artshealthnetworkahnna@gmail.com and we will identify a first and second nominator for the role and then email you for your endorsement. Nominations close on February 7.

We look forward to your collegial company this year.
